I am thinking about cancelling my AT&T phone line because 95% the calls I have received for the last few years are calls from marketing people. I would like to heard your opinion ( pro / con) if you have canceled your home phone
1) What is your big inconvenience if you no longer have a home phone line
2) How you do get help in case of emergency. Will your cell phone get you to the right people and a right place ( police, fire fighter) and you will get the needed help within 5 minutes or so
3) Does it really save you money? how much per month
4) What phone service you use to replace your home phone line. If so, what that is, will you able to keep your home phone number
5) Any problem with the bank. Doctor office, school, credit card. Do you have to contact them ALL to change the number to your cell phone.
6) I am tired of listening thru my answering machine to sort out which phone call important for us . I place my home phone number
7) If I drop off my home phone line, I save around $30/ month . Will it worthy to do so?
