Is it worth it to deposit 640 hgvc rescued points into rci

I have 5000 I rescued for use 2016 for a new 2016 total of 10000. I have an additional 640 points left that I now have to deposit into rci or use or just let expire. It costs 76 to deposit into rci.

Does anyone know the process after that and if it is worth it in your opinion? I guess it may depend on travel plans and circumstances but at this point I have no plans so just looking for general suggestions and opinions....
