I am proud to say my grandfather (USN retired) was at pearl harbor the day it was attacked, and it was something he never spoke about in detail to either my father or me during his lifetime.
Just something to reflect on during this day of mourning for so many families.
and a picture of my father, the founder of TUG (and a US navy pilot) at this very memorial...im sure this was a sad visit for him.
