We went to an owner update yesterday. We were served a muffin and a glass of watery orange juice and then were shown an updated room. Now back at the sales office when we told the lady we only buy resale, she quickly ran back to retrieve her manager. Now here is where it gets funny. The manager tells us that resale contracts are not considered "real Wyndham" contracts and our maintenance fees are projected to double at all our resorts we own at. Of course he could convert us into a bona fide Wyndham contract today for a discount. I politely told him my fees could triple and I'm still thousands of dollars ahead considering what I paid for the resale contracts! We were gifted and shown the door and it cost us 63 minutes of our lives. The crab legs for dinner tonight were even better knowing those lying sales weasels paid for it!!
